Practice Area and Experience

Mr. Pu Lingchen used to work in Brussels for 20 years. He began his profession in area of Belgian corporate law and the EU competition law. From 1992, he moved to the sphere of trade remedy and trade policy. Since then, he has represented Chinese exporters, Industrial Associations, Chamber of Commerce in response to more than hundreds of trade remedy investigations (anti-dumping, subsidy and safeguards), initiated by EU, UK, US, Canada, Australia, Japan, South Korea, India, Turkey, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Pakistan, Egypt, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, GCC, Taiwan, and other countries and regions.
He has also represented Chinese government responding to subsidies investigations opened by the EU, the USA, India, Canada and South Africa. In collaboration with foreign law firms, he handled, on behalf of China, several WTO disputes settlement cases, as either the complaining party or third party. He assisted China to work out proposals for modifying anti-dumping agreement.
He was appointed as postgraduate tutors by Peking University Law School, Southwest University of Political Science & Law and Law School of University of International Business & Economics.
He has been recognized by Chambers Global and Greater China as a Band 1 trade law attorney for many consecutive years; and has been selected by Who's Who Legal as the Best Trade Law Thought Leader Lawyer in the Asia-Pacific region for many years. He is appointed as postgraduate tutors by Peking University Law School, Southwest University of Political Science & Law and Law School of University of International Business & Economics. Author of EU Trade Law and Guidance on Practice and Theory of EU Anti-Dumping Law published by Law Publishing House, which were well received by the academy and lawyers.
