Areas of Practice
Shiyan focuses her practice on government regulation and compliance, as well as commercial litigation and arbitration. She has represented a wide range of domestic and international listed companies and accounting firms, with industry experience spanning medical devices, biopharmaceuticals, automotive manufacturing, and construction and engineering, among others.
Prior to joining Chance Bridge, Shiyan practiced and interned at a leading Chinese law firm and an arbitral institution. She has long been engaged in compliance and government regulatory matters, as well as dispute resolution, and has accumulated solid practical experience in these areas.

Chinese, English- Assisted a cross-border transaction company in reviewing and enhancing its overall compliance framework, including but not limited to the code of conduct, compliance manual, anti-corruption policies, bidding and tender rules, gifts and hospitality policies, and remediation and disciplinary mechanisms.
- Served as legal counsel to an automotive manufacturer in handling multiple internal investigations involving corruption-related matters.
- Assisted multiple multinational corporations and their subsidiaries in delivering compliance training to employees, and provided strategic advice and legal support on cross-border data transfers and national security issues.
- Assisted a listed pharmaceutical company in connection with an arbitration governed by English law, with hearings conducted before the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC).
- Assisted an international engineering company in an arbitration governed by English law involving procedural disputes at both the litigation and arbitration stages.
