Practice areas and experience
Ms. Guo's main practice area is foreign-related legal services, and she has rich experience in cross-border dispute resolution, international trade law and maritime insurance law. Mr. Guo has served as the perennial legal counsel for many multinational enterprises, large private enterprises and high-net-worth individuals for many years, and is able to deeply understand the business goals of clients and propose pragmatic and creative solutions. With her excellent business perspective and legal thinking, Ms. Guo has successfully helped clients win many tough battles in litigation, arbitration and commercial negotiations.

- Represented Chiyu Bank in a lawsuit before the Shenzhen Intermediate People's Court in relation to a cross-border loan and guarantee dispute, involving cross-border collateral recovery, onshore and offshore procedural coordination, asset disposal, etc., involving an amount of approximately RMB500 million.
- Represented a freight forwarding company in Shenzhen in about 15 lawsuits filed in the Qianhai Court of Shenzhen in relation to a freight forwarding contract dispute between it and its client, claiming that the client should pay freight and miscellaneous charges, port of destination charges, detention charges and other related expenses, and the cases involved cargo damage compensation, transportation delays, force majeure and other issues in international transportation. In most cases, after the litigation was filed, we successfully assisted the client to complete the full preservation, and all the cases have now obtained a favorable judgment.
- Represented a cross-border e-commerce company in a lawsuit against a dispute over a contract of carriage of goods between it and a carrier, claiming the carrier's loss of millions of Christmas goods caused by the delay in transportation timeliness.
- Represented Chinese People's Property & Casualty Insurance Co., Ltd. Shenzhen Branch in a number of property insurance contract disputes, involving the verification of accident liability, the determination of the loss of the insured accident, the determination of the amount of loss of the insured accident, the determination of the amount of insurance compensation and other issues, and successfully assisted the client in resolving all disputes by responding to the lawsuit and mediating on behalf of the client.
- Represented an export enterprise in Xiamen in handling the sales contract dispute with the upstream purchaser and the processing contract dispute with the downstream processor, involving the verification of cable technical parameters, the liability for breach of contract in batches, etc., and has won the judgment and full enforcement.
- Represented a university in Shenzhen in an arbitration before the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration concerning an equipment purchase contract between it and a supplier, involving the determination of facts for delay in performance and the determination of liability for breach of contract, and the case has been awarded in favour.
- Represented a high-net-worth individual in a private loan contract dispute, involving issues such as interest calculation, property investigation and preservation; After the case is filed, assist the client to complete the full amount of property preservation and obtain a winning judgment.
- Represented a well-known person to deal with a number of reputation rights infringement disputes, cases involving the identification of "network violence", evidence preservation and other issues, through reasonable choice of litigation and non-litigation dispute handling methods, to assist clients to safeguard their legitimate rights and interests.
- Represented a high-net-worth individual in a foreign-related inheritance dispute, involving issues such as case filing, transfer of inheritance, and subrogation when the whereabouts of the heirs are unknown, and the case is currently in the first instance procedure.
- Participated in the EU countervailing investigation project of BYD Co., Ltd. and its affiliates.

- Issued expert arguments to Canadian courts on issues related to Canada's request for judicial assistance from the judicial authorities of the People's Republic of China.
- Conducted a comprehensive background investigation on an airline holding company in the United States and its actual controller and formed a due diligence report.
- Provided perennial legal counsel consulting services for Hong Kong Chinese University (Shenzhen), such as system design, ceremony witnessing, bidding compliance review, incident handling, Chinese and English contract review, Chinese and English agreement drafting, theme sharing, etc.
